MORNING GLORY SMOOTHIE BOWL

Get your morning going on the right track with this delicious healthy smoothie bowl. I made this up this morning after I noticed a contest on Instagram about getting your greens and being healthy. I have made smoothie bowls many times before, but this one has become an instant favorite. It reminded me of being little and stirring my ice cream until it broke down to almost soup-like texture but more like a Wendy's 'Frosty'......This Smoothie is THAT GOOD!!

INGREDIENTS

MAKES 2 LARGE SMOOTHIE BOWLS

  • 2 BANANAS

  • 2 C. BABY SPINACH

  • 1 SCOOP VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER

  • 2 TBS MATCHA TEA POWDER

  • 1/2 AVOCADO

  • 2 TBS PB2 POWDER (OR ANY PEANUT BUTTER POWDER)

  • 1 to 1 1/2 CUPS ALMOND MILK

  • 4 ICE CUBES (OR MORE IF YOU WANT IT THICKER)

  • 2 TBS *QI'A SUPERFOOD (1 TBS PER BOWL)

  • FROZEN BERRIES OR ANY OTHER FRUIT YOU WANT TO TOP OFF YOUR SMOOTHIE BOWL

DIRECTIONS

BLEND THE FIRST EIGHT INGREDIENTS IN YOUR BLENDER UNTIL YOU ACHIEVE THE SMOOTHIE TEXTURE YOU LIKE. TOP EACH BOWL WITH 1 TBS OF THE QI'A AND DESIRED AMOUNT OF FRUIT. ENJOY!!
