A PIECE OF THE WORLD - by CHRISTINA BAKER KLINE
A historical fiction novel about the life of a woman who is featured in the Christina's World painting by Andrew Wyeth.
I am thinking this book will put to rest the question 'if only the painting could talk?' I am eager to get to know Christina and her everything. The book's brief synopsis is we will learn about Christina Olson, who grew up in the house that has been with her family for generations. The house and farm are situated in Cushing, Maine. Christina's life does not sound like much but had to be to become the muse to this renowned painting by Andrew Wyeth.
