My second CANDY.CA Box arrived this week and this one is even better than the last! I have come to a conclusion with this box.... I realize I am more sour than sweet! This month had quite a bit of sours in it and the one thing I can never resist ... CHOCOLATE! JELLY BELLY GREEN APPLE - I had no idea until I read the details on this Jelly Belly candy that they use real apple juice. You can tell too. These Green Apple jelly beans taste like the Real thing!
EFRUTTI ORANGE SLICES - So Yummy! I tried these gummies first. Made in Germany these little slices taste like an orange creamsicle. So smooth and just a touch of sweetness.
SIXLETS SHIMMER PRINCESS MIX - Canadian brand Sixlets' Metallic chocolate balls have a chocolate malt flavor. I cannot be sure, but I swear each color had a slight different taste. Probably just my imagination though. I say that about Smarties too! These would be great at a Mermaid or Unicorn Birthday party!
ALLAN WINE GUMS - Wine Gums originated in UK. These Allan Wine Gums are made here in Canada. Flavors included in the bag are grapefruit, blackcurrant, orange, lemon, raspberry and lime.
EFRUTTI SOUR BUBBLEGUMS BOTTLES - German produced gummy bottles, covered in sour shimmer sugar with a delicate bubblegum flavor. I noticed today there are none left in the box. I know it is nice to share, but somethings I need to learn to hide!
MINI SOUR WATERMELON DOTS - So soft and chewy! These sour watermelon dots are a lovely Summer treat. Not to sweet and just the right amount of sour.
ROCKETS - My husband's all-time favorite candy! I had no idea Rockets are Canadian. Produced in Newmarket, Ontario. Rockets always make me think of Halloween. I wonder what the company sales are like around that time?
There you have the Super Fun CANDY.CA May Subscription Box. I forgot to mention the other special thing the curating husband and wife team do is they write a special personal note to include with each subscription. I find that shows a genuine side to these super sweet curators.
Even if you are not especially into sweets, this box is great to have around. I always have something sweet to put in a candy dish, serve after dinner or snack on while we are watching movies. The candies are of the highest quality, so you know you are sharing something very special.
